Lake View at Scofield Reservoir

Visit the Scofield Area

Scofield Mountain Estates sits between the eastern boarder of the Manti-La Sal National Forest and the western boarder of Scofield state park. It’s only about one hour driving distance from Provo and 90 minutes from Salt Lake City.

The lake itself is about 2,800 acres of open water (approx. 4 square miles; one mile wide and four miles long) and is about 7,600 feet above sea level. The water temperatures in this mountain lake roughly range from 50 degrees in May to 70 degrees in August. Lake levels vary throughout the year depending on winter snowfall, rain, and droughts. Summers are great for water skiing and other water sports.

Building Your Cabin

As building a cabin can be a daunting task, we’ve spoken to various cabin builders, and have determined that one of the the most economical, highest quality, quickest, and beautiful ways to build a cabin is to use a prefabricated model. Whisper Creek is an excellent provider, and we are recently constructing a quick-move in cabin on lot 40. We also recommend Yellowstone Log Homes for traditional cabin construction.

There is no time requirement to build at Scofield Mountain Estates.
